Check out those shades.

Can’t take your eyes off those colors? Us neither—but we did manage to get the scoop on how they got here. Each napkin you see is woven in a Lithuanian mill that runs on green energy, then sewn in Oregon. Even more: They’re fashioned from Oeko-Tex certified, Belgian-grown linen (that means they’ll get softer the more you use and wash them).

  • Made in: Portland, OR
  • Product Warranty:
  • Shipping & Returns: Free Standard Shipping on Orders $199+ and Easy-Breezy Returns

Meet the Maker

MADRE

Portland, OR
MADRE gets its name from founders Shay Carrillo and Jeanie Kirk—two women who are deeply stirred by mothering, food, and how nourishing home can support both the human family and the natural world. Their goal is to create linen goods that are grown, processed, woven, and sewn here in the States. (But while the local linen industry gets rebuilt, they’re working with partners in Europe who are as transparent and sustainable as it gets.)
